The web-based system was primarily designed to function between SDOTs and MPOs. It can also function between an MPO and local governments and is designed to fit in with existing systems. The system is designed purely in Java which makes it platform independent. The ability to connect to existing databases is also a very important feature of the system. It also has advanced reporting tool. Any data in existing TELUS systems can be very easily migrated to the web based version.
