TELUS for the PC is an out-of-the-box system. It comes complete with a custom installer and has all the software required to run the system. It was designed keeping in mind agencies which might not be interested in installing a very large and slightly more complex system. It comes with a customization module which allows the agency to customize the application to meet its requirements.

The system is largely designed in Microsoft Visual Basic with data provided via an Access database. It comes with an Access run-time environment. If required enhanced functionality can be accessed with the complete Access database management software.
